“Talk to Me, Mum” is a collection of personal stories.
During the performance, inner dialogues with mum will be heard, based on excerpts from works by Olga Savelyeva, Vera Polozkova, Olga Demidyuk, and revelations from the women of El Faro.
The production resembles a journey from a place of fears, resentments, and grievances to a point of realisation, gratitude, and love.
Welcome to a heart-to-heart conversation about mum.

A wonderful, touching, warm, poignant and fantastic performance. Makes you think, remember childhood and have a cry in places. Huge thanks for a heartwarming evening.

Irina, thank you. We really wanted the performance to be just like that
Olga
A wonderful premiere! Very touching. I think everyone in the audience found something – close to them from what was heard from the stage! Heartfelt, talented and warm. Thank you all! A lovely welcome at the entrance) Treated to a delicious Napoleon cake “from mum” ) Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I attended the premiere of the play. Time flew by in a heartbeat. At many points I found myself reflecting and relating the stories to my own life. At times I wanted to cry – they touched my soul so deeply.

Vitaliya
Thank you so much for such a soulful performance!!!
To say that I thoroughly enjoyed it would be an understatement!
Such a topical theme!
The outfits caught the eye straight away – bright and tasteful.
And the quiet voices gave the impression of children speaking.
Every actress was like a little doll.
Throughout the entire performance, we felt our inner child!
Everyone was brilliant, but special mention must go to the singer:
a wonderful voice and a real beauty!
I also enjoyed the dance staging!
It was completely clear what the girls wanted to convey through dance.
After each monologue, we thought of our own mothers and drew comparisons.
Spot on, 100%!!!
All the actresses gave such moving performances!
Tears kept welling up in my eyes…
The theme is topical, evoking so many memories…
However, I would have liked to see an appearance by the mother at the end of the play, so she could explain why she was forced to go abroad to earn a living and leave her children, and share her perspective on those struggles.
How she was both sacrificing herself and depriving the children of their mother's presence.
Everything for the children today, while leaving things for myself “for later …”
As a result:
I hardly made use of anything!
Then the audience could appreciate the thoughts of the mother and the children from both sides …
Consider introducing the mother in future performances …
The whole time I felt like I was in psychoanalysis.
Thank you very much once again!!!
I will definitely recommend this performance to everyone I know!
Theatre "El Faro"

We will be delighted to see you at other productions as well!

I was at the premiere of the play 'Talk to Me, Mum'. Touching, to the point of tears! I thank the entire theatre team for an evening of insights and memories. After all, each of us has OUR OWN relationship with our mum, echoing in some ways the stories told to us from the stage. And those little envelopes on the chairs with a sprig and a napkin, the songs, the snow-white costumes – everything tasteful and tender.
Wishing you creative success and appreciative audiences!
Theatre "El Faro"
Thank you. It is very important for us to hear such words
