The play is set in a typical Odesa courtyard at 7/40 Primorskaya Street on the retirement day of Veniamin Solomonovich Zadunaysky, an actor at the Odesa Drama Theatre.
To mark the occasion, all the neighbours gather for a celebratory dinner, while the guest of honour prepares for his final benefit performance at his home theatre.
The show brings you colourful Odesa humour, true Jewish wisdom and lively dances.
